I often get questions in the comments like: How can I learn German? What’s the best way to learn German? How can I learn German at home? How can I learn German quickly? What should I do if I want to get to the next level in German? How about 3 months of intensive language lessons with Lingoda and the Lingoda Language Sprint Challenge?
I’ve been working with Lingoda for over 4 years. I have used their services myself. I have taken their classes and improved my own German skills with their classes. If you haven’t tried them out, you need to.
Their lessons aren’t lectures. They are interactive. Group lessons have a max of 5 students. Every lesson is designed to make you speak and participate in class and boost your language skills like no other site can offer.

Why learn a language with Lingoda?
Before I get to the details of this Sprint challenge, I want to explain why I have partnered with Lingoda for as long as I have. I uploaded my initial review of Lingoda on October 24, 2016. I took a few classes with them to make sure it was something I could promote on my channel in good conscience and was blown away.
A1-C1 Lingoda has lessons for all learners
Their curriculum is one of the most well thought out and detailed plans of any language learning program I have ever seen. It isn’t just thorough. It is a complete A-Z, beginner to fluent guided tour of the German language. You can take the basic classes for A1 learners like greetings and how to answer simple questions or you can go all the way up to C1 classes about things like the big bang theory (the science, not the TV show).
If Lingoda can teach Herr Antrim, they can teach you.
A little over a year ago, I needed to take the TestDaF exam, but wasn’t confident I could reach the high bar my university had set, so I took a few classes on Lingoda to help refresh my memory a bit and give me the extra practice I needed before the exam. By the time the exam came around I was confident in my abilities and earned the score I wanted.
What’s it like taking a class with Lingoda?
Since it had been a while since I have taken a class with Lingoda, I decided it was time to make sure they are still doing great work and they are providing the kind of service that I would want if I were a student or if I decided to have my kids start taking online lessons. I took three lessons this week. I took a class on psychoanalysis. Another one on the big bang theory (again, the science version) and one more on the future of the library.
As I usually do for this kind of thing, I downloaded the materials ahead of time and took a quick look through them. I like to read before the lesson to make sure that I know most of the vocabulary and so that I am mentally prepared for the lesson. As you can see from this sample from my lesson about psychoanalysis, each lesson starts with a list of goals for the lesson. Then a quick overview of the topic. Then our teacher guides the group in a quick discussion of what we already know about Sigmund Freud. This gives us a chance to get to know one another a bit more before getting too deep into the topic.
After a few brainstorming speaking exercises we read a bit about the history and then had some more free speaking practice. Then we read another excerpt about the theory and discussed our views on the topic. This swap between reading and speaking practice continued for the majority of the lesson. At the end of the lesson, we summarized what we had learned and even tried to analyze some of our fellow students’ dreams.
Cool features of Lingoda
A cool feature that wasn’t available the last time I took lessons with Lingoda, but now is, is the quiz feature. This feature lets you revisit older lessons and test your knowledge. You can take a quiz on any of the lessons you have completed.
You can also read the notes from the teachers about your lessons. This is great for constructive feedback about what you did during the lessons. Several of my previous teachers mentioned that my accent is quite good, which is always encouraging. Occasionally they did point out a few areas of weakness and I found this to be particularly helpful. At my level, it isn’t very often that I get a critique from someone about something I said. It is incredibly helpful to fine tune those little details about the language so you can continue to improve.
The #1 Most Trusted European Language School
Lingoda is the #1 most trusted European language school and are based in Germany, so you know your lessons will be on point. Their lessons are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. All of their teachers are native speakers, which is especially helpful when you are fine tuning your skills. You can get group lessons for about 10€ and each class will have a max of 5 students total, so you can get that one-on-one attention you need in a language course.
What is the Lingoda Language Sprint Challenge?
Alright, now that you know why you should choose Lingoda for your online language learning needs, let’s talk about how you can take 3 months worth of lessons with Lingoda and get 100% cashback at the end. Super Sprint vs Classic Sprint
There are 2 kinds of Sprint Challenges. The Super Sprint is 30 classes per month for 3 months. If you attend all 90 lessons, you will get 100% cashback after the Sprint ends. The regular Sprint is 15 classes per month for 3 months. When you complete all 45 lessons during the challenge, you will get 50% cashback at the end.
Both plans require you to pay a 49€ deposit and each one will be paid in 3 monthly installments based on which challenge you chose. When you are done, Lingoda will give you 100% back including the deposit, if you successfully finish the Super Sprint or 50% if you successfully complete the regular Sprint.
